What is an underground home?
An underground home is a home built underground.These homes form a small community.They are smaller than most houses.
Why are underground homes built in Tunisa, Africa?
Well, in Tunisa the tempertures can reach well over 100 degrees. Because these homes are located underground, the temperture stays between 70-80 degrees year round. The temperature is cooler! One problem that underground homes can have is flooding.
What materials are used to build these homes?
Clay, dung, and dirt are used to build these homes because they are easy to find,you can put them on easily and, they are stuff you can push them in easily.
How are these homes built?
Underground homes are built by digging into the ground. Some are built by tunneling on the sides of caves. Many underground homes are connected to form a small community.

There are many people who love underground homes, but they are very popular in Tunisa.
